Hi all
Mods, I cant find anthing that covers these exact questions in a search (live yes, this no) but if you do know of something, please merge.
I have a dual use revo running under karmic that has 9.11 camelot along with mythtv frontend (deinterlacing issues mean mythbox etc just isnt ready to take this out of the picture.....yet)
Because of the myth frontend I run into issues updating the nvidia drivers and because of this I'm slightly concerned at updating to Dharma. I'm therefore planning to not touch the family main media device (revo 3610) until AFTER the holidays although the bedroom system (optiplex with nvidia graphics) may have some modification work!
Can someone please tell me:
1. do I *have* to update the nvidia drivers beyond the 180 drivers
2. I know the database has dramatically changed in dharma, does this affect the nfo files? Will there be any impact if I build a test box with dharma pulling from the same media and nfo files?
3. can vdpau be used with bob interlacing now?
