I need a quick way to exit XBMC (or more accurately my wife insists on something less complicated than S > LEFT_ARROW > ENTER). I was going to map something to ALT-F4 (or just use ALT-F4) but I seem to recall reading in one of these forums that it was a bad idea to use ALT-F4 as it could lead to database corruption but I can't seem to find any reference to it now.
So, my question... am I losing it?
Did I actually read that and more importantly is it true?
If I shouldn't use ALT-F4, any suggestions on mapping a single key (or key combo) to something that will shutdown XBMC in one step (i.e. it shouldn't just bring up the shutdown menu)?
