I just installed dharma 10 onto my zotac mag. at first the sound didn't work, but i went into the audio mixer and unmuted the iec channels. all good, i thought.

however, now the audio on sd .avi files that i play works fine, but when i start up any of my .mkv 720p/1080p files, the sound is always loud static.

is anyone else having this issue?

I was, I believe it's not limited to .mkv files, but those that have 5.1 audio. Something's change in Dharma that my previous settings no longer work.

I tried a bunch of the fixes, but what worked successfully for me was to simply change the number of channels to 2.1 rather than 5.1. I still *seem* to get 5.1 decoded by the amp, but I haven't had extensive time to figure it out.
