Hi,
xbmc@XBMCLive:~$ uname -a && cat /etc/*release
Linux XBMCLive 2.6.32-26-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 24 09:00:03 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=10.04
DISTRIB_CODENAME=lucid
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS - XBMCLive Dharma"
I have installed Dharma on an Shuttle XS35....
I have another Dharma running fine on a Asrock ion..
On the Asrock I use a SMK togheter with a Logitech remote.
On the Shuttle I use a Twinhan remote.
I still have the original remote for the smk and I would like to use it instead of the rather limited Twinhan remote.
case 1
I plug in the SMK receiver
sudo mode2 --device=/dev/lirc0 gives me the usual codes for the Logitech,MCE-usb and the twinhan remote
Case 2
I plug in the Twinhan receiver
sudo mode2 --device=/dev/lirc0
mode2: could not get file information for /dev/lirc0
mode2: default_init(): No such file or directory
case 3
When xbmc boots with the Twinhan receiver, xbmc listen to certain keys like volume, mute favorite etc
So my question is does somebody know how to connect to the twinhan receiver and learn the other keys and ideally use the mce-usb remote instead
Thanks for reading
