Hi,
Can anyone here point me a minimalist remote for XBMC? I would want a remote with few buttons, just the cursors, OK, Back (Esc) and Power.
Are there any models available? I did a deep search and only found very complex remotes with lots of buttons.
Thanks

Is it possible to get them individually and put them to work with a customized XBMC box? I know that it is possible to buy an Apple remote but what about the receiver? And how can I get a Boxee remote and its RF receiver?
Thanks

Well, if you buy a Mk1 AppleTV, you get the remote and a little box that does a decent job of XBMC. Chuck in a CrystalHD card and put a Linux distro on itand you have what I have here. Watched Ponyo last night in 1080p.
Alternatively I'd suggest getting a Harmony remote, and embracing the complexity on the basis that it'll replace all your other devices.

I did a bit of research and found out that the Boxee remote is sold separately with an RF USB receiver included.
However, I wasn't able to find an IR receiver for the new Apple remote.

Apple remotes only work with Macs. Special IR kit- not standard at all.
