Hi,
My TV is a 16:9 Plasma, with 1024x768 resolution. This means that the pixels are not square.
1024x768 is the clearest and most pleasant resolution, even though the TV suggests 1360x768 as its native res. It is definitely the clearest resolution by far, so that is the resolution I want to use.
So in XBMC I have used the calibration tools to compensate for the PAR. This works fine for movies, they now appear in the correct aspect ratio.
But my fanart backgrounds do not, they are squished and cropped somewhat (I am using Dharma 10.0, Transparency skin with fanart view option). Is there a way to fix this?
