Running Dharma, with the crystalHD chip on a dell studio hybrid. 1080P MKV work great, but when I play a recorded DVRMS the video is about 2FPS or so. The audio plays fine but not the video. Any suggestions?

Re-encode that nasty Microsoft locked content into x264 with Handbrake. I don't think the Crystal HD supports that codec (nor does any other XBMC backend I know of outside of raw CPU).
