Hi - just to say thanks guys. Installed XBMC-Live on my Revo last year. Great for watching d/l TV shows not on UK terrestrial TV yet. Only problem was with Firefox - couldn't get sound to work. But FIXED today :-

1. upgraded to 9.10 with these simple instructions:-(linked from here - I cannot remember the source thread)

2. Tested with existing TV d/ls and Youtube. Great.
Went to console - screen corruption.

3. Screen corruption fixed with this thread.

4. Firefox installed (again) with this thread. Sound worked FIRST TIME. Great guys.

EDIT: firefox sound stopped working; fixed /home/<mainusername>/.asoundrc and its working again; not sure why/how it worked in the 1st place but seems ok now...
