[LINUX] Executor accessible directories
#1
Hi all,

I'm trying to run firefox from the Executor plugin, and when I run Executor from the Program menu (Transparency skin), I get a screen with title "Select the program to execute" and beneath that two direcories: one the /data volume I use to store all video and music files, and one subdir of that (/data/video/Series). I can enter those directories, but I cannot go up to the root directory (to get to /usr/bin etc.). I don't know why it only sees those directories and no others, and where I can add more. Maybe a clue: there's no programs.cfg file to be found in the config directory, don't know if that has anything to do with it. Any clues?

I believe you can add a '/usr/' path in the filemanager. Then it should also be visible in the Executor.

Ok, thanks. That works.

Adding the /usr/ or even / path doesn't work. All I can access is Music and Videos, the default folders that were there at the very start. I have to copy my shortcuts and scripts into those folders to access them.
