[LIVE] Installation of XBMC Live Dharma
#1
Hello,

I am seeing exactly the same problem as reported by the OP in this thread about Camelot. My problem is with installation of Dharma though.

I am installing on an Acer Revo 3700. The intention is to dual boot the Revo with Live and the existing Win7HP installation.

I'm using a newly downloaded version of unetbootin to copy the dharma live iso to USB disk, but its failing with:

Quote:An installation step failed. You can try to run the failing item again from the menu, or skip it and choose something else. The failing step is: Install the system

I've put debug logs on pastebin:

hardware-summary
media-info
partman
syslog

Any suggestions please?

Thanks
D2K

I have no successfully installed Live from a DVD burnt from the same image I put onto a USB stick using unetbootin.

So there would appear to be some problem with the unetbootin process....
