How to change MCEkeypress event in XMBC live
#1
When I press the "TV power" button on my speedLink sl-6399 remote in XBMC live an event called MCEKeypress LIVETV is detected but does nothing.

My question is how to I change this action from LiveTV to be the power off. Do I need to hack the keymap.xml file in userdata? If so what exactly do I need to enter into this file?

Any help is appreciated.

you need to hack remotes.xml
Code:
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON `xbmc_%`.* TO 'xbmc'@'%';
IF you have a mysql problem, find one of the 4 dozen threads already open.

/usr/share/xbmc/system/keymaps copy to /home/<username>/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps

and mod the one in your home dir.
