I've added this into corg.conf as suggested. Once done, should it be applied without doing a reboot? If I do /etc/init.d/gdm restart will that do it, or can I run something else?

Reason being is that I currently run TvHeadend which works fine except after a reboot its has issues and will need setting up which is a pain.

Did 9.11 live work for you? It's easy to boot from a live 9.11. Many framedrop/stutter/judder issues in the forum here now. Could point to some issue in Dharma 10.
