Hi All,

Purchased an Asus 1501P - stuck a 40GB SSD in it, upgraded the RAM to 4gb - and now I'm a happy camper.

I can turn the machine on and off using the remote. It's got USB 3.0 and a slot loading DVD-RW. I couldn't be happier. The interface is snappy, my 1080p content works flawlessly. Totally wife friendly too.

Sounds great! A couple of questions:

- What brand of RAM memory did you use when you upgraded the 1501P?
Did you use 2x2GB modules?

- Did you replace the existing harddrive with the 40GB SSD drive?
