[LINUX / LIVE] XBMC forgetting video calibration
#1
I've had a search around the forums and I can't see anything (that almost certainly means it is answered somewhere).

My screen is plasma so a 4:3 stretched widescreen so I'm using the video calibration settings to rise the XBMC session. This works fine and normally survives a couple of reboots. However fairly frequently it forgets is current video settings, ie sizings. I also think its forgetting brightness / contrast but I've yet to prove / disprove this.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks for the pointer(s) ... I've just googled and got this thread. Looks to have an option to turn off the scanning. I'll have a play tonight.
