Is svn35648 latest ?

Did a

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc

today from a RC of dharma (think it was RC2) and got upgraded to 2:10.00~svn35648, thats listed as compiled on the 17th December, is that the latest ? Seems as though there would have been a later one.

If you want bleeding edge you'll need to check out git, Xbmc just switched.

To be honest compiling a new version is easy once you've done it. It takes an hour to hour and a half tops. I wrote a script to automate the whole process. Looks like after the move to git, my script will change too.

that's true. But for most people precompiled packages are much easier Wink
