Either it's just not possible, or I am missing something simple... I'm trying to use the same diffuse color for both the primary button and the alttexturefocus and just can't seem to get it right.

How can I have both buttons use the same diffuse color? Or better yet, completely different diffuse colors?

Hmm, they should use the same diffuse by default. If they don't it's a bug. There is no altdiffuse to my knowledge.
