When I start XBMC or change resolution in XBMC I get a long blank screen. The blank screen lasts so long that I can barely accept the new resolution before it reverts back to the old resolution. I suspect XBMC is changing the video output in a way that causes a renewal of the HDCP handshake.
I'm using the posted release of XBMC 10, Windows 7.
My HTPC is an ASUS P8H67M-LE, a Core i5 2400, with a AMD 5840 video card. This is attached to a Pioneer VSX 1120 and my TV via HDMI.
On my desktop I'm using 1080p 60mhz resolution with some overscan adjustment.
In XBMC I'm using 1920 x 1080 resolution with DXVA hardware acceleration enabled. I've tried both windowed and non windowed mode.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
Thanks!
Rob
