Please help, i've searched for over a week without resorting to asking -which is what i should have done in the first place.

Running Latest live xbmc on an asus M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3 with onboard ati hd4250.
Works fine in xbmc for windows 7 but not on XBMC Live.
Can somebody point me in the right direction?

How do you want to get the audio ? HDMI, S/PDIF or direct 5 channels ?

Are you using an external receiver ?

From a terminal post the output of the command aplay -L and aplay -l
