My Dharma / WinXP install has a bizarre issue which I am unable to resolve..

My DVD-Rom drive is being displayed in media source lists multiple times and it appears to be randomly increasing, today there are 36 drives entries for it. All listed with the same drive designation.

This doesn't appear to be a common issue as I am unable to find any posts of a similar nature..... any ideas?

A small update......
I have figured out the problem I think.
My DVD Rom drive is on a long USB extending repeater, and occasionally it can be heard to disconnect and re-connect, I think it is possibly at the limit of the repeater cables capability. It appaears that every time it does this XBMC relists it as a source.

If I reboot the drive is only listed once, windows doesn't keep adding it as a drive, just XBMC
