I really like the XBMC, and would like to try out the Aeon skin, unfortunately after 1h of fiddling around and reading many threads, I have no luck until now I am using windows 7

I have downloaded the latest XBMC version from here:

http://xbmc.org/download/

Then I downloaded the Aeon skin from here:

http://xbmc.org/skins/aeon/

Then I read the wiki, but it seems that it has the old installation instructions, as there are no "skins" folder on the new version anymore.

I tried as suggested in some threads to copy the skin.aeon folder to the XBMC addons folder C:\Program Files\XBMC\addons

But still the aeon skin does not show up.

I also tried to install the skin throught XBMC "install from zip file" but that also failed.

Can anyone please put me on the right path?

i've updated the wiki with the current install instructions.

Aeon is not compatible with XBMC Dharma,
you need to download one of these mods:
-Aeon65
-Aeon Showmix
-Aeon MQ2
-Aeon NOX
