Hi everyone,

i am trying to get smb shares to work. currently i have added smb shares with username and password and I added them as source under videos. xbmc is scanning the folders and according to the little box on top is finding all the movies in the folder i added.
if i want to access the folder a popoup comes up "remote share network is not connected"

network is working... weather gets data and if want to add new sources i even can browse the shares i just added.

does anyone know what i did wrong?

i've just tried to add a upnp cevice as a source.
I am using "PS3 Media Server" for my PS3 which is working like a charm.
and I am getting the same error msg.

"Remote Share Network is not connected"

i can even see the logon in my windows events when i am browsing the shares on atv2

if i am connected via ssh to my apple tv I am also able to ping the server which is sharing the data and vice versa..

anyone?
