Under "System > System > Video Output > Display Mode" I accidentally set "Windowed", and now the XMBC interface only occupies about 2/3 of my display (a 1366 x 768 LCD) including the top-left corner, and I can't get it back out of this mode. Before making this Display Mode change, the interface occupied the whole screen (and then some).
Now, I can't even get the menu to show me what are the other choices under "Display Mode" besides "Windowed". How can I revert to the original configuration?
I tried uninstalling (using "apt-get remove...") which was successful, and reinstalling, but the new installation was still stuck in "Windowed" mode.
Is there any way to uninstall XMBC and make it forget any configuration changes that have been made? That might be a solution but I don't know how to do it.
