Have installed XBMC on ubuntu 10,04 and also on WinXP. I have a two sources of music on a samba server, one are .wav files and the others mp3s

My problem is that after scanning the source I am still unable to:
1. use the library mode - button is constantly greyed out - most of the tracks were imported either with banshee or itunes - I have also tried ripping a CD with XBMC but still no luck. The mp3s all have tag information that is viewable via the properties in file manager
2. download any album art from any of the add-ons listed

XBMC potentially look great - but without these features I will have to look else where :-(

1. Context menu -> Scan to library. I recommend disabling album and artist lookups at first.
2. Once in library, Lookup album info for all albums from context menu again.
