Hi,
I just got XBMC loaded on my Zotac ID40, and am looking for tips / best practices for managing music.
Current Music setup on my NAS drive:
M:\CDs -- rips of my CD, currently in AAC format
M:\Purchased -- AAC or MP3 purchased through iTunes or Amazon
The reason for the two folders is:
1). I need to re-rip my CDs into FLAC for XBMC and AAC for my iPhone
2). A lot of the CD rips are poor quality (don't ask, old rips)
3). M:\Purchased is a combination of what I've purchased and what my wife has purchased
If I remapped my NAS drive with the following folder structure:
M:\Music\CDs
M:\Music\Purchased
And added "M:\Music" to XBMC under music, will XBMC combine artists / albums?
TIA,
RocketDude
