I turned on "HTTP Access" in XBMC and realized that this opened up my computer to the world a little bit. I want to turn off the ability to access my XBMC from outside of my home network but how do i still connect to it when i'm locally connected? I only want it to be accessed via my home network.

You do have a router/firewall correct?
If you only enabled the web interface in XBMC and didn't enable a pass through in your router/firewall then no internet connections can get to XBMC.

I would assume you can disable the inbound connection profile if you already enabled it on your router/firewall.
