I am sure this has been covered, but I have not seen it.

I have a Windows machine that has 3 hard drives for all my movies. I run XBMC dharma on this machine as well as on a laptop, that I use the network to connect back to the "media server". Everything works perfectly well with the movies.

Question is, is there a way to watch either TV live or TV shows in XBMC as well as the movies?

If so what is a good way to set it up?

Look at PVR side. At Windows you only have two choice. ForTheRecord or MediaPortal TV-Server.

For LiveTV, not directly in XBMC. For recorded stuff, there are some different options for integrating the two. I use SAGETV to do all my recordings and this SageTV/XBMC integration tool to have all my recorded TV from SageTV loaded into XBMC.
