I've been searching since Dharma Beta 1 came out about what causes the extremely long boot time when using a flash drive. Someone hinted at Grub2 being the cause because it didn't happen in previous versions.
After POST my Zotac ION (N330) has a black screen for 2-3 minutes before the xbmc loading screen finally pops up. Once the black and grey XBMC screen shows it's booted in 15 more seconds. I'm using a sandisk cruzer 30MB/sec drive.
Does anyone have a fix or an idea of what I can do?
