Yes, it works with Dharma. Just set up voice recognition in Windows and use any USB mic you may have (I plugged in my Guitar Hero USB microphone and it worked fine).
Check the forums out over there if you have any issues setting it up.

i want this so bad :-D but i can't have it because i'm running windowsXP. It's taken me months to get my XP HTPC just the way I want it, so I can't face starting again with windows 7.
am I completely screwed or is there any way of installing patched to XP so that it can run vox commando?

Sorry. I've never heard of anyone getting VoxCommando to work on XP, but you are right, you can run VC on your Win7 machine and it will send commands to XBMC on another machine through the network. XBMC could be running on XP, Linux, or whatever.

Thanks fr taking the time to post. Where can I learn more about how to set this up?
For example, do I just need voxcommando on the windows 7 machine or do i need xbmc on it as well?

@thebearnecessit: Sorry I did not reply to your post until now. I did not see the notification for your message.
VC (VoxCommando) and XBMC do not need to be on the same system. VC can control XBMC running on another systerm via the network.
VC is pretty much plug an play with Eden, but we are still working on communication with Frodo. Should be ready about the same time that Frodo final is ready though, I think.

Hi
I am interested in VoxCommando, just watched a couple of demo videos on YouTube. I already own a Amulet voice remote was using it with Windows MCE. Now running Linux Ubuntu XBMC.
So I think I would have to install the VC software on to my WHS2011 server and install the VC XBMC add-on on the Linux HTPC.
Question - Can I setup custom voice commands? Say a voice command "Lights On" and then have VC on the WHS server run a .CMD file? Which in turn would send a HTTP request to my Home Automation system (VeraLite) to turn on the Z-wave lights.
How does VC for XBMC compare to Amulet for MCE ?
Thanks.

I've played about this recently too - can get basic functions (play stop volume) but it's pretty sketchy and I never got it working continuously (it always cut off the start so wouldn't work).
