Hi, I downloaded the XBMC Live 10.0 ISO from xbmc.org and i'm having trouble installing it.
I have no optical drive on the PC I'm installing to and I'm UNetbootin in Ubuntu 10.04 so i can install from a USB drive. I looked at the installation procedure at http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/xbmc-ion/module/1. I was pointed to there by the XBMC Howto wiki.
Anyway the boot screen that they show of UNetbootin is not like the one i get, mine only has default and nothing else. Anyway if i continue with that i get a message telling me to mount the installation CD ROM from the CD Drive. Obviously i don't have a CD Drive thats why i made a USB Drive.
Anyway i was trying to install XBMC to my USB Flash drive only and not my hard drive. Would I have to unhook my hard drive to avoid writing a partition table over it? The reason for this is that i want to test out XBMC before i actually go out and but the components to make a small HTPC and a Gigabit Dual Band Wireless N Router
