I’m using the Asrock ION3D-152B, which comes with a remote and the IR receiver is built in – behind a grill on the front. The remote pretty much has to be pointed directly at it, and from directly in front of it.

I want to get an external USB IR receiver to plug in to improve this.

Any recommendations on what will work with xmbclive just be plugging in (I don’t know anything about linux).
