My XBMC on Apple TV is setup on Auto-Update. What does this mean?
> I don't have to worry about always running the latest and greatest XBMC?
> It will automatically update XBMC without telling / asking me?
Basically I want to run the latest and greatest, but don't want to install it manually. I don't think I have XBMC 10.0 (i.e. Dharma) running on my Apple TV. Would like to get it, but don't want to screw things up.
Thanks in advance for any pointers.

See this [thread=67078]sticky[/thread] - I think this kind of does what you want. At this point, I think you have to manually update but at least the latest versions are available.

I think that the auto update feature you are speaking of is for the atv itself, you would want to go along with the post above and update xbmc from the launcher.

Those options can be found in either SoftwareMenu or nitoTV

Yes, update Launcher to 3.2.5 and then update XBMC to 10.0 Dharma

Okay I updated Launcher, XBMC, Boxee.
Tell me this. How do I tell the CURRENT version installed on the Apple TV? Or is it that if there is an update for any of the above it will be listed and if not it will say no update? I just dont want to trash existing setup with SAME version of any of the above in future. There wouldn't be any point, not to mention don't want to take the risk unless there is really something to update.
