What is "teletext"?

I would like a key on my remote to cycle trough my subtitles for a movie when in fullscreen, and I'm thinking of using the Teletext button on my MCE Remote.

When I press that there popup a windows saying that "teletext not available".

What is teletext? It's obvious not subtitles...

Well I thought it would be that kind of Teletext, but why is that in XBMC?

It was added while introducing basic PVR functionality. Well kind of functionality Smile
