Hi,

SMB share works with my NAS fine, and recently after upgrade to 04022011 nightly build, my SMB share with share folders on my Win7 computer also worked fine.

Now I ve upgraded to the latest offivial build 06/02/2011, and the SMB share with the Win7 Share Folder no longer works, its keeps asking for user name and password, but the SMB share with the NAS drive work fine.

My 2nd ATV2 with 04/02/2011 build still rums SMB share on my Win7 Share Folders fine.

Can anyone suggest a resolution?

Seems strange that is was working and has stopped. Did you install any of the Windows Live Essentials stuff onto your windows 7 machine recently? Have a read of the following thread regarding issues around this: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=93381

looks like there was a samba packaging error with 10.0-4. 10.0-5 is brewing.
