Hi.

I can't listen any audio when i use the spdif connection by my motherboard:

- Asus P5LD2x-1333

I no understanding the problem. If i use the p2 connection/stereo thats ok.

But no audio in SPDIF connection.

I have the live xbmc installed and updated (apt-get).

Seems like a common problem...

Here's what I had to do

1) Log into terminal

2)

sudo alsamixer

3) arrow over to SPDIF (two or three options)

4)

m

to unmute (all SPDIF options)

5)

escape

to exit alsamixer

i appreciate your help, but i resolve after follow this topic:

I don't know if this works. The power connector to this bad contact, but i appreciate and excuse-me by post.

5) to exit alsamixer

A giant thank you from the misses. The pops and crackles while i was trying to set my new (and first) system up was driving her crackers, making me closer to loosing it!
