I have the Build from 02-08 and wanna add music that is on my NAS via smb. It starts adding my albums but crashes after a few seconds. What can i do?

Make sure you have removed all m4a files in the source directory then rescan. They seem to crash the music scraping.
You can easily convert the m4a to mp3 in itunes by right clicking and converting to mp3.
Hope this helps (it turned out to be my problem).
While i am here does anyone else have problem with artist fanart not showing or not being scraped. Album art is now fine for me but i have no artist art showing at all
