Is there any audio improvement planned for the player? It is not very loud I am afraid. Compared to, let´s say the Windows Media Player or Miro, I have to squeeze my slide control almost to its limit to have a full sound when playing a dvd or mkv file (avi is a little better).

Is there anything to tweak? Any chance for improvement?

Actually not but what should this change? The point is that I have to squeeze the systems volume up to the limit to make it sound good.

For example.
With Miro oder media Player I have to chose a volume of 50 on my scale to have a good sound for mkv and dvd files.
With XBMC I have to go up to 80 or 90 to have the same result.

This is why I say.....the build in player is not very powerful.

If I use the + or - key on my keybord it shows 0.0 DB as maximum. I can only go lower and not higher.
