Ill preface this by saying my main HTPC with xbmc 10 finds and scrapes all my tv shows (except for a couple that i still need to get episode guides for which you'll see in my debug log) but xbmc on my apple tv 2 is only find some of them.

A couple shows will show up in the listing of shows available, but no episodes within will be found such as "The 4400" or "The Event." Other shows it will find some, but not all episodes such as "Dexter" it will find the first 3 episodes of season 1 but nothing more of that, it can find the other seasons no problem. what am i doing wrong?

I dont think its the naming conventions. I have ran my files through the renamer and my tv shows are setup as follows:

TV Shows\TV Show Name\Season X\TV Show Name.SxxExx.EpisodeName.avi

still have the same issues

would it just be simpler to use a mysql database since my HTPC (where all my files are also) is scraping them fine? id assume just set my sources to smb and as long as the htpc finds it the atv should find it?
