Right when a song is about to end the audio goes out for a moment then comes back in before the next song starts. Does anyone else have this problem? I have an Onkyo TX-607 and I run my audio from HDMI to the TV then optical out to the receiver (Which has no HDMI inputs).
Anyone have this same problem?
Anyone know what this problem is?
How do I fix it?

Check to see if you have cross-fading enabled. That could be the problem.

If you a quick search on audio dropouts you will find others have this problem when using HDMI. It may be something to do with buffering and HDMI negotiation. I found it sometimes gone after a reboot. Anyway, I can't help you fix it because I couldn't fix it for myself, so I went another route and stopped using xbmc for music playback. I now use mpd and the excellent mpdclient addon. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone.
