[ATV2] Jitter on high bitrate x264 1080p file
#1
Been playing all my 1080p movies without problem but stumbled on that one wich causes bad rendering. No buffering at all but a heavy jitter.

The bitrate (12.8 Mbps) is rather high compared to most of my files wich are all around 9 Mbps.

Are we hitting a limit to what the ATV2 can decode or is it something else?

Thanks for all the good work all.

I don't think so. I had a short clip on youtube that demonstrated no jitter or drop frame playing back a scene from 1080p Iron Man2 with 23Mbps bitrate and some parts with sustain >17Mbps bitrate.

Unfortunately the video was flagged and subsequently blocked due to copyrights issue. :|

But it did good to demonstarted vtb-h264 was running well it bitrates higher than 23Mbps.

Can't report the same here. Several high bit rate avc/264 vids are stutter city for me on a wired network connection. Any of those same movies "handbraked" to a high profile 1080p play just fine.
