Scraping locally doesn't work
#1
When scraping from my NAS, it works perfectly.

When scraping locally, from any folder as far as I can tell, only about 1 in 30 files are picked up, and those are incorrect.

I have three seasons of The Office and three seasons of American Dad stored locally. when scraping, it picks up 3x episodes of Weird Al Yankovich's show 'Al TV'.

The same episodes stored elsewhere scrape correctly with the same settings.

The same behaviour is evident on both my iPad and ATV2.

First of all which iDevice are you referring to?

Have you set the "content" of the source?

Were these files uploaded via iTunes or manually copied?

It's the same on both my iPad and atv2.

I have copied them via the built in xbmc file manager.

Yes, content is set correctly, in correct folder structure too. E.g.

TV\American Dad\Season 6\*.*

Its exactly the same structure and settings as if on my NAS, the only thing different is they are stored somewhere (could be anywhere) under private/var/mobile

Are you sure it's not thinking the 'TV' main folder is the TV show it's scraping?

If you movie 'American Dad' to the folder 'TV' is in what happens?

Just to keep the thread updated:

It does now appear to work!

This is great for taking my iPad to a hotel with the new Digital AV (HDMI) connector.

I'll be buying DisplayOut very soon to enable the mirroring on the original iPad and then I'm all set!

Thanks again for all the dev work - donated what I can.
