Yu don't need Eventghost. Just use the MCERemote plugin or EliteGamer360's scripts. These configure the receiver to generate the standard Windows Media Center keyboard shortcuts. Details in http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Usi...in_Windows

Grab Showkey from http://xbmcmce.sourceforge.net/ and see what if any keystrokes the remote is renerating. If it isn't sending any keystrokes at all I suspect you're out of luck and you'll need to either use a different remote or upgrade to Win7.
