Samba slow after switching routers
#1
I changed my router the the Asus RT-N16 and with XMBC on Apple TV 2G the browsing of Samba is slowed to nearly a hult. It takes forever to connect and to navigate from folder to folder and whenever I try and play something it gives me an error "Not possible during media scanning".

Are there any known issues with switching the ip address subnet? Or common toggles with routers that I should be looking at?

I believe that it isn't the router because when I connect to Samba shares between my Mac and my Desktop they transfer at perfect acceptable rates. Though that is going over wifi versus wired. Which would be really weird to find that for some reason the router is handicapping the wired transfer.

I still have my previous router and if I plug that one it everything works fine (with the exception of the intermittent drop outs, the reason I got a new one).

Thanks for any assistance!
