Good morning,

I have successfully installed XBMC onto my AppleTV and have configured it to use my UPNP Server (TwonkyServer)

Everything seems to be OK as I can see the Music that is shared out, however when I try and play it the XBMC interface freezes (the remote control does nothing) and after a while it will start playing. This happens again on the next track. It is almost as if it is downloading the file before playing it - although I am not sure why the interface freezes.

I am at work at the moment so I am not in a position to give specific version numbers or log files; but if anyone has any inkling to what might be happening here that would be great.

I am happy to provide extra information - please advise what would be best to provide. (If log files then can you let me know where they will be so I can SCP them from the AppleTV )

Does it happen with other UPnP servers, try Serviio (free) and see if it does ?

Starstream, thanks for the suggestion.

I have tried using serviio and I get the same problem.
I have used TwonkyServer for quite a long time to stream to my XBOX 360 as well as XBMC installed on a Ubuntu laptop and I have not seen this behaviour at all.

I prefer the way in which serviio works so I have changed over to that :-).
