How do I install two completely separate installations of xbmc? I need one for my wife that has a different library and folders than me. I would also like one for the kids with all their stuff.
I tried to install under different folders but that doesn't work. Settings and library spills over to the other installations.
Is it possible?

Hmmm, didn't I already see this in the general support forum?

Profiles might work, yes. Thank you
But will I be able to create a shortcut on my desktop for each profile?
It will be too comlpicated if you have to change profiles within xbmc.

Profiles can have a logon screen when you start XBMC couldn't get any easier than that

or you could literally use two different installations of xbmc in portable mode.
just create a shortcut with a -p after the executable. i use portable mode in all of my setups.
