Hey all,

I've been successfully running XBMC on my ATV2 for the past several weeks, and suddenly yesterday I noticed a tremendous slowdown in the GUI (menus, animations, etc etc). I tried changing skins to see if that was the problem... nope. I tried shutting XBMC down and restarting several times... nope. I tried re-updating and installing the latest version of XBMC (10.0.7 on my unit)... nope.

I can't figure out what could have suddenly caused it to slow down so much. I have my ATV running 24/7 and my library is pretty tiny -- maybe 20 movies and 20 TV shows.

Any ideas?

have you tried to reboot it?

you dont by chance have this running through a mysql database do you?

I had such a gui slow down once when my atv2 was jealbroken with the tethered jb. A reboot fixed it. Never had it since i've done the untethered jb.

Yeah that's what I ended up doing. I changed my JB from tethered to the new untethered and so far so good. Thanks all.
