All XBMC iPad users,
I am thinking about buying an iPad now that XBMC has been ported to iOS, but I am wondering whether using XBMC to play movies that are loaded on the iPad (vice streaming) significantly drains the battery. From what I understand, iPads can get up to 10 hours of battery life while playing videos with the iPad's native video player. Is this time significantly lessened when using XBMC?
I just installed XBMC to my iPhone 4 and it plays all of my 720p MKV files seamlessly. But I haven't watched the videos long enough to see if it kills the battery quickly on my phone.
If anyone has been using XBMC to watch videos (which are loaded on their iPad) can you let me know about your battery experiences.
Thanks ahead of time!
