[iPad]Will TV out work with component AV?

Question
Hi,
This is my first post on the forums, and usually i don't ask a lot of questions. Most thing can be found on google, og searching the forums, but i have a really hard time finding an answer.

Usually i will connect my macbook to the TV to watch movies, but i was wondering if i could connect my iPad to the TV with a Component AV cable.
It would be so much easier than to drag my computer to the TV and using a really long cable to find a place to put it.

I hope someone can answer this question Huh

Thank you in advance!

It won't work natively for sure, but perhaps you can try installing DisplayOut on cydia. It mirrors iphone/ipad screen of any apps on Tv output.

i have used displayout on my iphone4 and ipad with xbmc.

I only used vga and composite. I don't have the component cable but it should work.

It is kinda cool to be able to pull out my pico projector with my iphone4 anywhere I am.

And it runs smoothly?

I will definitely try this out as long as it can run without lagging.

It runs the same.

your mileage may vary. I haven't done extensive testing. i just streams some hulu episodes over 3g on my pico without problems.
