I am thinking of trying to create a plugin for some content that I would like to be able to see in XBMC... the content pages that I see are being served by Brightcove....this is the url sniffer info

rtmp://brightcove-36.fcod.llnwd.net:1935/a500/d2?videoId=60142081001&lineUpId=66038380001&pubId=52815519001&playerId=68026425001&affiliateId=<playpath>media/52815519001/52815519001_60137551001_TV-nahunter-2009shawneeturkey?videoId=60142081001&lineUpId=66038380001&pubId=52815519001&playerId=68026425001&affiliateId= <swfUrl>http://admin.brightcove.com/viewer/us1.2...Player.swf <pageUrl>http://www.myoutdoortv.com/hunting/north...can-hunter

rtmp://brightcove-77.fcod.llnwd.net:1935/a500/d2?videoId=59460296001&lineUpId=66038380001&pubId=52815519001&playerId=68026425001&affiliateId=<playpath>media/52815519001/52815519001_58576709001_TV-nahunter-turkeyloose?videoId=59460296001&lineUpId=66038380001&pubId=52815519001&playerId=68026425001&affiliateId= <swfUrl>http://admin.brightcove.com/viewer/us1.2...Player.swf <pageUrl>http://www.myoutdoortv.com/hunting/north...can-hunter

I am just starting...done some light coding and want to make sure this is even doable...

Probably, yes. Start with rtmpdump and get the stream dumped using that.

If it works there then it's definitely doable.
