I recently installed XBMC on my Apple TV 2, but am having a problem when trying to access shared files (videos)
I've shared the Movies folder on my Mac as an SMB share.
The first time I tried to access it from XBMC it worked fine, but now I get prompted for username/password from the lock screen. No matter what I type in I can't access the Movies folder.
I tried virtually everything: creating a specific xbmc user account on my mac, enabling/disabling sharing of the folder, tried to share other folders etc. but nothing works. XBMC keeps prompting me for login information for any folder that I want to access. No matter what I type in, login is rejected.
Please help!
