dxva2 works veeery poorly with my ATI (is there blinkseb or tiben20 versions ?)
#1
Hi,

I have an ATI 4200 (chipset 785G). Last drivers, old drivers, custom drivers, all sort of drivers, nothing helped : display is awful when dxva2 is activated. Same with VLC.

It works perfectly with MediaPlayerClassic HC. But XBMC + MPC is not a elegant solution.

When I'd tried XBMC DSPlayer, it works very fine.

So, is there a binary of no-more-support-nor-dev blinkseb version or binary of the new tiben20, for Windows 7 ?

Thanks.

Last user compiled DSPlayer build - hope the link is still active http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=687...count=4069.

A build of Tiben's DSCodec branch can be found in the dev thread, but audio playback is unstable at the moment (Tibem is aware and on the case).

It may be the ATI chipset you are using... I run newer ATI chips (4550 & 5450) on 2 systems and everything works perfectly.
I'm not an expert but I play one at work.

There's no specific problem with my chipset, it's a known issue. And, as I said, It works perfectly with MPC.

Thanks for the link, actually it not works anymore but tiben20 post this one
